Alternatively to eating the right foods you could have surgery. Surgery involves collapsing your lung and cutting the nerves under your arm to make them less responsive to creating sweat. If you ask me this sounds like a dangerous and extreme way to stopping your armpit sweat, especially when there is a much simpler and safer way.
Avoid Red Meats
I’m not saying completely cut red meat out of your diet because this would be bad advice simply because our body needs sources of protein for muscle growth and repair. However if you constantly eat red meat then you may want to change this up a little. Our body finds it extremely difficult to digest red meat, because of this more energy is taken up and our body temperature rises causing an increase in sweat production.
Low fat milk
Now I know low fat milk is pretty disgusting, however just changing from full fat milk to low fat milk will decrease the amount you sweat drastically. Once again you don’t have to only drink low fat milk because quite frankly you may as well not drink milk at all but if you moderate the amount of low fat and full fat milk you drink then you will see big improvements in your sweat reduction process.
Reducing your salt intake
Now I admit that I take in way too much salt and it seams i’m not the only one. Did you know the average American takes about 12 grams of salt into their diet each day and every day? Now this may not sound too bad to you, but did you know the suggested intake of salt is only 4 grams. Cutting your salt intake will not only stop you from sweating but it will also give you a healthier lifestyle.
Eating Calcium Rich Foods
Calcium gives the body its essential nutrients to survive. If you add more calcium to your diet then you are going to decrease the amount that you sweat as calcium has an effect on the temperature of the body. Foods such as the following are all high in calcium:
- low fat Yogurt
- Calcium fortified milk
- Cheddar Cheese
- Cottage Cheese
- Macaroni and Cheese
- Cooked Rhubarb
- Almonds
- Baked Beans
There are tons of high calcium foods that will reduce the amount that you sweat.
